We raised 3000 fish in only 4 seasons in Costa Rica, and are proud to announce that our Captain JC & First Mate Henry were selected as Costa Rica’s Crew of the Year in 2008!
We run safe, exciting and fun trips for Blue, Black and Striped Marlin, Sailfish, Dorado, Tuna, Wahoo, Roosterfish, Corvina, Snapper and Grouper.
Ours is a non-profit operation, supporting a
sustained fishery for our kids and grandkids, world-wide. All proceeds from our operation support CCA (Coastal Conservation Association).
In an typical week’s stay with us, guests enjoy an average of: 21 Sailfish raised, 2 Marlin, plus catch 9 other species (tuna, dolphin, wahoo). That’s an average of 10 bites and 6.3 catches per day!
Our best week: (Feb 24-27, 2008) 82 Billfish bites, including a Grand Slam: releasing a Striped, Blue Marlin & Sailfish in one day!
Our best single day was April 21, 2009 when the Tom Gingrich party released 31 Sailfish, 2 Marlin and 1 Dorado in a single day! They quit fishing exhausted at 2:30 p.m.
